Terms of Service

The rules for using Firefun as an attendee, visitor, organizer, or place owner.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the Firefun website, applications, and related services. By using Firefun, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement; minors must use Firefun with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required.

3. Discovery information

Event, venue, schedule, price, availability, accessibility, and other listing information may be supplied by organizers or obtained from public and authorized third-party sources. We work to keep it useful and current, but details can change. Confirm time-sensitive or safety-critical information with the organizer or venue before travelling or purchasing.

4. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers and place owners must:

  • have authority to publish the listing and use its names, images, and other content;
  • provide complete, accurate, lawful, and current information;
  • honour valid tickets and clearly communicate changes, cancellations, and refund terms;
  • obtain permits, licences, insurance, and consents required for their activities;
  • deliver events safely and comply with applicable consumer and accessibility laws; and
  • avoid misleading promotions, duplicate listings, spam, and manipulated engagement.

Firefun may review, edit, reject, suspend, or remove content that violates these Terms or creates a safety, fraud, legal, or quality risk.

5. Tickets, payments, and refunds

When you purchase a ticket, the listing and checkout disclose the applicable price, fees, and organizer terms. Payment processing may be provided by Paynow or another payment provider under its own terms. A ticket is a revocable licence to attend the specified event and may be subject to entry, age, conduct, transfer, and venue rules.

Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, the organizer’s disclosed policy, event status, and Firefun’s checkout rules. Unless Firefun expressly states otherwise, the organizer is responsible for the event and its fulfilment. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded by these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Firefun unlawfully or to facilitate harm, fraud, harassment, or discrimination;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
  • upload malware or interfere with the service, accounts, security, or rate limits;
  • collect personal data from Firefun without a lawful basis;
  • copy or commercially exploit Firefun’s service or data except as permitted in writing;
  • circumvent moderation, ticket limits, access controls, or payment processes; or
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Firefun a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote that content as needed to operate and market the service. You confirm that you have the rights required to grant this licence.

Firefun’s software, branding, design, and original content remain owned by Firefun or its licensors. Third-party names, media, maps, and content remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.

8. Third-party services

Firefun may link to or interoperate with venues, organizers, payment processors, map providers, Facebook, Instagram, and other services. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Firefun is not responsible for their independent acts or availability.

9. Availability and disclaimers

Firefun is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete or error-free listings, attendance, organizer performance, venue suitability, or the conduct of users and third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Firefun is not liable for indirect, consequential, exemplary, or special loss, or for loss caused by an organizer, venue, attendee, payment provider, or other third party. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Firefun at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a breach, fraud, non-payment, security issue, legal requirement, or risk to users. Provisions intended to survive termination—including payment, ownership, disclaimers, and liability provisions—remain effective.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We may update the Terms as Firefun evolves. The current version and effective date will be published here, and material changes may be communicated through the service or by email.
